Lessons are based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Students range from the ages of five and upwards, with lessons tailored to the goals and needs of each individual.
Lessons focus on the development of skills, knowledge, and the student's natural creative abilities through musical exploration and discovery. The aim is to encourage a lifelong enjoyment of music-making.
Commitment to learning both in the lessons and during their practice sessions at home is important to consolidate learning and to develop musical independence.
Students have the option to take ABRSM or Trinity practical and theory exams from Pre-grade 1 through to diploma level.
Fast-track theory workshops are offered to prepare students for the theory entry requirements for the Grade 6 ABRSM practical exams.
Exams are not obligatory, although they can provide an added incentive or goal to work towards.
There are also opportunities to take part in various music workshops, along with regular concerts for students to get together and play.
